Pittsburgh Technology Council Propels SHzoom Forward with DoD Hub Support

At SHzoom, we firmly believe that collaboration and support are the cornerstones of innovation. The synergy between our team and the Pittsburgh Technology Council (PTC) has been a catalyst for groundbreaking ideas, propelling us forward in our mission to make a positive impact. Serving on the Board of Directors for the PTC has been an absolute game-changer for us, and it’s no surprise why!
The PTC has proven time and again that they are dedicated to empowering their members with unparalleled support. From securing funding to landing crucial customer accounts and facilitating networking with top executives worldwide, the PTC has been our ultimate ally on this thrilling journey.
Yesterday was a defining moment for SHzoom as we had the immense privilege of meeting with the Department of Defense, all thanks to the PTC! Our latest endeavor, “Uptime for DoD,” is rapidly taking shape, and we were fortunate to gain invaluable insights from none other than Colonel Martin Salinas and Phil Hahn from AFWERX. Their guidance and expertise on DoD contracting and funding requirements were truly priceless!
Did you know that in 2021 alone, the DoD awarded a staggering $154 billion dollars to small business owners? If you’re not familiar with SBIR and the overall process of contracting with the DoD, look no further! The “Steel City” DoD #Pittsburgh Hub is here to provide you with the knowledge and resources you need to seize these fantastic opportunities.
We extend a heartfelt thanks to Brian Kennedy, whose tireless efforts made this meeting with the Department of Defense possible. Brian’s lobbying has opened doors for small businesses like ours, granting us unprecedented access to endless possibilities.
If you’re looking to soar to new heights, join us and become a part of the PTC family! Together, we can achieve greatness and create a better future for all.
