Highlights from NAFA’s Visit to Pittsburgh

National Association of Fleet Administrators’ (NAFA) visit to Pittsburgh was a historic event for SHzoom.  As a new Associate Member, it was an honor to be highlighted in NAFA’s national publication – Fleet Solutions.  Now two years later, it is my honor to share highlights from last month’s largest fleet conference – NAFA’s 2021 Institute and Expo (I&E).

Pictured in the top left corner is legendary, NAFA veteran and Founder of 100 Best Fleets, Tom Johnson.  Tom led the 100 Best Fleets Panel discussion with distinguished Fleet Managers like Alex Alfonso and Al Curtis. 100 Best Fleets proudly boasts 21 years of recognizing top fleet professionals as it relates to performance improvement and innovation in the public sector fleet industry. SHzoom looks forward to collaborating with you!

In the upper right corner is none other than “The Tyre Guy!” TJ Tennent, a forensic scientist, is President at Tennent & Associates – a global tire forensics firm supporting investigators and expert witnesses for liability cases involving tire failures. TJ’s reputation as an industry expert and a powerful presenter is well known in the fleet industry.  His most famous quote:  “People that I meet should be better off by having met me,” rings true, indeed!

Last but certainly not least, Ms. Patti Earley.  It was a great honor and conference highlight to meet with Patti, a 30+ year fleet industry expert. This powerhouse pioneered the way for so many women in fleet. Serving as the NAFA Fleet Management Association President and as an Ambassador for the National Biodiesel Board, she is the epitome of excellence.
